Example Charters

Destinations on our cruises are very much dependant on the weather and tides but here are a couple of examples of what we could be doing on a day, weekend or 5 day trip.  

Day

Our day charters start at about 8:30 in the morning and finish around 4:00 in the afternoon. You will be on the water for no less than 7 hours. These days are great ways of getting an introduction to sailing or can be used as a corporate event or just a pleasant sail admiring the sites. A full lunch  and snacks throughout the day are included.

Weekend

Guests arrive onboard at 5.30 p.m. on the Friday. You are shown your cabin, stow away your gear and given a safety briefing by the skipper. In the summer months we set sail as soon as possible, aiming to arrive at either The Hamble or Cowes in time for a meal ashore. In the off peak season we tend to stay on the berth until Saturday morning. After a substantial full breakfast we set sail at about 9.30 a.m. and head out into The Solent. We spend all day sailing, stopping for lunch at an anchorage. The evening is usually spent at one of the many marinas when the guests can go ashore while the skipper prepares the evening meal. Dinner is served around 8.30 p.m. On Sunday, after breakfast, we sail again for the whole day, sometimes having lunch underway and arrive back at base at 4.30 p.m.

5 Day Cruises

On these cruises each night is spent at a different location. Again, weather and tide determine exactly where we go but it could be something like this :- 1st night- Cowes. 2nd night- Poole. 3rd night Yarmouth- 4th night Portsmouth and 5th night Beaulieu. We usually sail for a minimum of 6 hours a day, giving everyone a good spell of helming, trimming or relaxing !

Cross Channel Cruises

These are very much catered for your own requirements regarding departure dates and destinations. On a 5 or 7 day cruise we can either do the French ports, such as Cherbourg, St. Vaast & Fecamp or we can visit the Channel Islands. Just contact us with your ideas and we will set up a cruise to suit. These cruises usually start on a Sunday evening but can be adjusted depending on availability.

With double and single berths available, we can cater for families, groups or individuals on our well equipped 43 foot yacht.
